This is Mediterranean Olive Wood. Unique not only in design, but also in shape and in beauty. Very solid, and durable. The scrolling edges show off the richness of the olivewood grain. The surface has a fine finish that's silky smooth to the touch.
The veins in the chess board are a deep black, brown and cream No two items are alike.
This olive wood chess set may contain variations in colour and shape due natural to the olive wood knots. Being hand made, the pieces will not be uniform, but we hope you will love this very original game set as much as we do.
Maintenance is limited to the occasional rinse of the wood with olive oil.
