This Chess set is hand decorated with elegant carving and wood burning techniques from craftsman in the Carpathian Mountains of Poland. The name Muminek is the Polish word for the Mumintroll. The Mumintroll refer to a family of  trolls appearing in the popular European Tove Jansson fantasy books.

Each chess set is hand tooled using European Maple, Sychamore and Hornbeam wood and comes complete with a beautiful large board for Display.
