Looking for something original? This is it. Beautiful Malagasy carvings depicting native culture. The wood is primarily Bois de Rose (rosewood), Palissandre and whitewood marquetry.
The board is a large 48cm x 33cm and suitable for display.
The game is hand carved in Antananarivo and is considered a collectors piece.
The native pieces are delicate and require care. The set is considered of antique value and is very playable.
Please note that the spears belonging to the pawns are deliberately left seperate in order to prevent damage.
