Charming Snakes and Ladders Childrens Game originating in India and used to teach morals. Move up the Ladder - that's good! But beware the Serpent that wants to bring you down!

Being paper mache it is eco-friendly yet very sturdy (although, we have not dipped ours in the bath and don't really recommend it!)

The entire game, dice and pieces have been hand painted using natural dyes in traditional Indian style.

The origin of snakes and ladders is found in documents from India around 2nd century BC. It is said that it was used as a game for teaching children morals. The British took it to England in 1890s and from there, it spread to the rest of Europe and the world.

Enjoy this classic with your whole family.
