Mosaic inlaying is a very time consuming process that involves cutting small even pieces of coloured wood and fixing them in precise fashion to form a brilliant vintage look.
The various timber veneer pieces of this Backgammon set from Damascus are inlaid by hand into the walnut base in beautiful mosaic designs. The Backgammon and Chess board folds in half for easy transport and there is plenty of room inside to store the rustic mosaic Backgammon pieces.
One side is a beautiful mosaic chessboard inlaid with Mother of Pearl, while the other side is a mosaic decorated backgammon board. This is an heirloom quality Backgammon Set, hand made and beautifully designed.
This board game is made in the country from which Backgammon became famous. Sure to change the way you play Backgammon.
