These boards are made by a small Fair Trade organisation in Java known as Apikri. The beauty of this organisation is that it is held together by families. Each family runs a small micro-business which is supported by the organisation collectively.

As a result, the family businesses are protected from exploitation and doors are opened for productive industry within their communities.
